Overview

The Reuters Spotlight provides access to the rich Reuters content seen on http://www.reuters.com via standards based feeds. To access the feeds an API Key is required - please see Getting Started for more details on obtaining an API key.

Spotlight provides access to the Reuters content through the use of feeds and services programmatically. There are currently two types of feeds available through Spotlight.

• Content Feeds - The Content Feeds provide access to the Reuters multimedia content, which includes multimedia articles, text stories, videos, pictures and the option to receive the content automatically annotated with RDF semantic metadata, through standard feed formats such as atom, rss, mediarss and json.

• Information Feeds - The Information Feeds provide access to the information and meta data associated with the Content Feeds. This includes feed channels, editions and content types.
